The Thicket HOA is seeking volunteers to help organize our 2018 4th of July celebration! Last year we did not have a celebration as we had no volunteers! We need volunteers to please step forward by June 1st. In past years, we’ve had a parade from Fir Forest to the clubhouse with families and kids with decorated bikes lead by a fire truck which hoses the kids down at the end! We’re hoping someone, anyone will volunteer just an hour or two to help bring back this fun tradition of celebrating our country’s birthday! After the parade we’d like to serve hot dogs and snow cones. The pool will be open until 8 but clubhouse volunteers are only needed for a short time after the parade. The Thicket HOA is looking for Block Captain volunteers!

This program has been largely inactive for the last several years and while we don’t have big plans, we would like a representative for each street. Many of our past volunteers have moved and we’re hoping some of our new residents might enjoy stepping into this minimal responsibility role. In the past, on rare occasions we may have asked a Block Captain to speak to their neighbors on an important issue.

If your street has no volunteer listed or you see your name and you’d rather pass the baton, please let me know!

2019 ANNUAL MEETING
of
The Thicket at Cypresswood Community Improvement Association

Please take notice that the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Members of The Thicket at Cypresswood Community Improvement Association (the “Association”), a Texas nonprofit corporation, will be held on March 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at The Association’s Clubhouse 13806 Cypress Chateau, Spring, Texas 77388. The meeting will be held for
the following purpose:

Election of two (2) Directors for a three (3) year term.

If you would like to run for an open Director position, please submit your name to the Association, and your name will be placed on the ballot at the 2019 Annual Meeting. Your input is important to the Association, and we urge you to attend the 2019 Annual Meeting. On the other hand, by a later mailing all members will receive a proxy form for them to use if they cannot attend the meeting. The sole purpose of the proxy is to allow their vote to still count if they are unable to attend the Annual Meeting.
